April 2013 - March 2016

Project Purpose

  1. The related official personnel will be trained, who can establish the policy of the administration measures on the improvement of water environment.
  2. The personnel acquire the knowledge and know-how about the publicity work to residents and the education activities on the water preservation.

Project Activities

A three-year personnel capacity building program aimed at improving water environments has been conducted since 2013.

October 2013 Kobe City dispatched officials to Kien Giang province to provide training on the role which governments should play in preserving water environments, and the characteristics of sewage works.
December 2013 Representatives from the Kien Giang province government were invited to Kobe City for training to learn Kobe City's overall environmental measures and visit water supply and sewerage facilities and other cityʼs facilities.
February 2014 We held a discussion session in order to look back on the first year of the project and training for the second year.
