Kobe Robot Technology Project |
There are many small- and medium-sized
businesses in Kobe that are highly skilled in the mechanical,
metal and electrical fields. The Kobe Robot Technology Project
tries to combine these advanced technologies to develop new
technology and products related to robotics, and utilize
them in various fields like medical care, welfare, nursing
care and emergency rescue, to revitalize local businesses
and improve society.
Cooperating with the Robot Research Institute at the New Industry Research Organization
(NIRO) and other organizations, industry, academia, private enterprise, and the
government have come together to promote this project under the following three
pillars: |
- Through developing robots, improve manufacturing
technologies and promote local industry businesses through
cooperation among industry, academia and government.
- Allow residents and children to experience
their dreams and the joy of creation through robots.
- Carry out community development to create
an affluent, safe, and secure city utilizing robots.
